2022.01.29 09:48 offron1 Better Report System

tl;dr Please fix the /report system
Dear dev's, how hard can it be to make a priority system for reports?
20 + report within a minute, and over 500kills, should be easy to filter out and ban automaticly. Can still come back to audit later and maybe reverse if the system flags a wrong one.
I love this game to bits, but why is it, that a 1 time random report, seems to have the priority than a player with 30+ reports?
Submitting a ticket and its queue number 250?
It realy hurts this game. Specialy for new player's. Now as Oshur droped alot of new People came, with that new Subs, dont you think they/we deserver better than that crapy report system?
Regards: a 6year verteran

2022.01.29 09:48 Christ_070 Headphones for gaming and listening on phone

I'm looking for headphones that will work for gaming (think FPS games that require directional sound cues) and that I can use with my phone (wireless or wired with dongle).
I definitely want closed-back and something without a non-detachable mic.
I don't have a super strict budget but trying to keep it around $200.

2022.01.29 09:48 AstralBull Stranded with the Sombra

My sunglasses did little to protect me from the harsh sun. I could still only see the road a hundred feet ahead of me. My only saving grace was being in the middle of nowhere, no cars to crash into. The desert had seemed to stretch endlessly; we had been driving through it for what must have been hours. I loved the far cooler temperatures of Bismarck, though Laurita always wanted to go back to her home in Texas.
Sweat was pooling on my back. It was like I had jumped into water, my shirt soaked and drenched. I looked into the rear-view mirror and saw Laurita desperately fanning herself with a brochure. I could see nothing but sand and hills for miles. Then, popping up just into view, a small town with a few shacks in it. If push comes to shove, we’d have to rest there.
So of course, we got shoved. The engine sputtered. It kicked like an angry horse and shouted at me to stop. We came to a halt at the entrance to the town’s only road. It refused to start up again. “Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!” I yelled and slammed on the horn. “Martin, I told you we should have filled up at that station!”
“Shuuuut up! The fuel gauge was only half empty, we should have been able to make it to the next one!”
“You know this car doesn’t work right anymore! You never heard of better safe than sorry?” I sighed and looked towards the barely-village worthy shacks. “Ok, Laurita, let’s not argue. Let’s go into town, and ask if they can help.”
“Seriously? That town looks like it's been abandoned since the 1880’s.”
“It’s our only shot besides walking or waiting.” I opened the car door, feeling the dry, arid heat slam into me. The road was dusty and littered with sand. The only indication it existed were footprints. Walking the two hundred feet to the first building had already exhausted me. I was forced to sit under the canopy, though the hot air still beat me down relentlessly. I heard the door creak from behind me, and a man emerged from it.
He was like a cowboy from a movie. A leather hat, a brown vest, and a revolver on his hip. “What are you doing out here? Are you out of fuel, like every other visitor in the last decade?”
“Oh, actually yes. Is there any way to get fuel around here?”
“8 miles down the road. That’s the closest station. You’ll have to walk and make it back before nightfall.”
“What? How am I gonna make it 8 miles in this heat before nightfall?”
“Well, then wait for tomorrow night.”
“Why can’t I go tonight? I got places to be, I can’t stay around for a whole day.”
“Listen here, hombre. Today is Thursday. And on Thursday, the Sombra come.”
“The Sombra?”
“Yes, they were named by the Mexican settlers who first came here.”
”What are they? Why can’t I go because of them?” He turned on his heel and went back inside his hut. He left me with a quizzical look and a desire for answers. After he shut the door in my face, I could hear the faint sound of piano music. On the other side of the street read a sign that said “Striped Bark Valley Saloon”. The music emanated from it. I walked over to the front door and signalled Laurita to come over.
We walked in, and the rush of hot air was repelled by a plume of cold air. I looked around for an air conditioner, but the basic wood had not a single note of electronics. “Well hello there. I’ll happily whip up a few drinks for y’all. What would you like?” The bartender asked. He had a nice twirly moustache.
“Uh, whatever you think would be good,” I said unsurely. I assumed he had little to no choice of drinks. He produced a whisky with condensation dripping down the side. He dropped two clear ice cubes into the glass and then poured a glass of whisky into it. I wasn’t expecting such a simple drink, but I wasn’t complaining about something with ice in it.
I dropped it down in one gulp. The burn of whisky was unmatched by the cold ice. Soon, Laurita and I were taking drink after drink. The bartender kept supplying. And we just kept drinking. Drinking and drinking. We had a whole day, who cared? Much of it was a haze. Laurita and I dragged each other to the car and we fell asleep.
Thud thud thud thud thud! In rapid succession, someone was slamming on the passenger side window. “Get the fuck out of your car and to shelter! The Sombra are coming out soon! If only I remembered you were here earlier…” Even in my groggy state, I still had so many questions. My speech was slurred and slow. “Hombre, when the Sombra get here, don’t make a peep!”
I slapped open the car door, dragged Laurita over the console and out the car. I dragged her and sloppily ran to the bar. As I ran up the steps, I tripped. I fell onto the wooden floor and took Laurita down with me. The bartender opened the door and dragged me inside, leaving Laurita outside. He slammed the door shut.
I looked up and tried to speak, but he shushed me by zipping his mouth shut. I reached for the doorknob, but it refused to open. It needed a key. I gazed through the peephole, seeing Laurita laying on the floor. I glanced at a little black shadow on the horizon. As the orange sun shifted to a purple twilight, it become many. One. Then ten. Then a hundred. Then a thousand.
I blinked. They were right in the middle of town. I jumped back and my eyes felt scratchy and blotched. Yet I had to look. I leapt back up to the peephole. Laurita was laying on the ground, surrounded by a group of Sombra. They were black, shadowy figures. My eyes kept trying to adjust to see them, yet the more I focused, the blurrier they got.
Then Laurita made a little peep. Only a small groan. Then she stood. Her mouth opened and her voice became louder. Louder and louder, then higher and higher. It became a shriek; a banshee’s shriek. My ears, they were bleeding. I fell to the floor and resisted the urge to scream at the pain. I covered my ears and it soon turned so high it became white noise.
Then, it stopped. My ears were ringing. My eyes hurt to open. I crawled away from the door on my hands and knees. I collapsed from the pain.
Next thing I knew, I was in a bed in a basement. My head was bandaged and I walked up the stairs. The bartender was at his bar, tending to it. I just went out the door. Looking down briefly, I noticed a golden ring with a small diamond. Laurita’s ring.
I picked it up and looked around. Not a single other trace of her. The cowboy was sitting in a chair beside the door. A thin wooden cross sat against the chair. “Hombre, I already picked up gas for you. You’ve been cold for over a day now.”
“Wait, really?”
“Yeah, it must be time for you to hit the road. As for your wife, well, I already prepared the tombstone.” I already knew. But put so bluntly. I flung the ring to him and walked away with my head down. “Leaving it all behind I see. Doing what I couldn't,” he muttered. I cried on my way to the car, with sweat and tears running down my face.
Getting into my car, I sobbed for twenty minutes. Fuck. I should have listened to her. She’d be sitting in the passenger seat if I did. Finally, I switched the ignition on and drove away northbound. If you’re in the barren parts of Western Texas, heed my warning. Don’t run out of gas. Especially on Thursday.

- Verbesserungspotential? - Doppellüfter an der IO Blende oder oben ? - Andere Lüfter Verbauen? (Noctua wäre die Überlegung)
- Wäre eine AIO für die GPU sinnvoll? Freue mich auf eure Tipps vielen Dank Vorab :)
Ps: Bilder folgen (hoffentlich)

2022.01.29 09:48 MyVeloute Creating a 'clear' image on a 250x250 canvas...

Something that has been bugging me...
I often create designs on a large canvas and want to make thumbnails in a 250x250 format, but it always becomes blurry when i resize.
I know what you're thinking - smaller canvas, less details, it's normal. But I tried resizing an image in Windows Paint today and the resulting 250x250 JPG was much clearer.
I've tried BilineaBicubic settings, DPI densities... all sorts. I know a clearer image is possible but resizing seems to distort it too much.
